Using AI tools often involves sharing documents containing sensitive information: names, addresses, emails, or client data.
One solution is to anonymize documents by hand: find each piece of sensitive information, hide them one by one, check and recheck.
It's time-consuming, tedious and error-prone.
The tool automatically detects and masks sensitive data in your documents so you can share or analyze them safely.
Unlike many online services, rature runs entirely in your browser: your files are never sent to a server and never leave your device.
The project follows a simple philosophy: you should be able to use AI tools without compromising the privacy of your data.
1. Import your PDF
Simply drag your document into the application. Processing starts immediately in your browser.
2. Automatic detection of sensitive data
rature analyzes the document and identifies potentially sensitive information: names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, identifiers, etc.
3. Edit detected elements
Detected data is highlighted in the document. You can quickly verify and adjust what needs to be anonymized (double-click to hide/add).
4. Review the redactions
With one click, you can preview the anonymized document.
5. Export your anonymized PDF
Download your anonymized document and use it safely: sharing, AI analysis, archiving, etc.
The entire process takes place 100% locally in your browser.
Your files never leave your computer.
rature is an open source project.
The source code is public. It can be consulted and verified. This transparency is essential for a tool that processes potentially sensitive documents.
You can review how files are analyzed, how entities are detected in the text, and how anonymization is applied.
Are you a developer? Contributions to the project are welcome!

We believe that privacy tools must be open and verifiable to be trustworthy.
